Paris, December 18, 2025 - Didomi, a leading provider of data privacy management solutions, announces that Google has re-certified its CMP for the third year in a row for all digital environments (web, mobile, and CTV).
Since 2023, Google has established a “certified CMP” label, requiring publishers with traffic from the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland to implement a Consent Management Platform that fits their compliance requirements to continue using Google Adtech products:
To comply with the EU User Consent Policy, partners using our publisher products—Google AdSense, Ad Manager, or AdMob—are required to use a consent management platform (CMP) that has been certified by Google and integrates with the IAB's Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) when serving personalized ads to users in [the EEA and UK, and Switzerland].
- Google Support (source: Google consent management requirements for serving ads in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland (for publishers))
We’re proud to share that our Didomi CMP has been re-certified for the third year in a row, and is one of only 9 publicly available CMPs globally (including Sourcepoint, which is now part of Didomi) to offer a Google-certified CMP for CTV. Google's CTV requirements took effect in July 2025, making compliance mandatory today.
Our team has been dedicated for years to providing a state-of-the-art CMP experience to every user, regardless of environment. This renewed certification from Google is a welcome recognition of this work, and of our lasting relationships with partners, clients, and collaborators in the publishing industry.
We are proud to continue to display this external confirmation of our commitment to our publisher clients in Europe (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
- Rebecca Berbel, Product Marketing Manager at Didomi
This recertification occurs at a critical time, when many publishers have been working to migrate to the latest iteration of the Transparency and Consent Framework, the TCF v2.3, which Didomi already fully supports well ahead of the February 28, 2026, deadline. Learn more:

As a publisher, how can you comply with Google CMP requirements?
If you’re a publisher with traffic from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you must comply with the CMP requirements from Google. See which of the following scenarios applies to you:
- I am a Didomi customer: You’re in good hands, and no action is required from you. That being said, if you have any questions, reach out to your account manager.
- I am working with another Google-certified CMP: You are most likely in the clear, but make sure to check Google’s list of certified CMPs to make sure that your CMP covers all environments.
- I am working with a non-certified CMP: You likely have to take action or risk losing access to Google’s publisher products (Google AdSense, Ad Manager, and AdMob). Contact your CMP provider to find out whether they’re working toward certification. If not, consider migrating to a certified CMP.
- I built my own CMP: You’re not exempt from Google requirements. Look into the company’s programs to register your interest in completing certification (it will be challenging)
- I don’t have a CMP: We advise you to review our guide to the best Consent Management Platforms on the market to find the best fit for your needs.
