As the summer winds down, we’re taking a moment to look back on a busy and impactful first half of 2025 at Didomi, from international conferences and industry panels to targeted webinars and partner events.
Across different countries and events, we’ve had the chance to connect with privacy experts, marketers, product teams, and tech professionals to dive into what’s next for consent, tracking, and privacy-first strategies.
Here’s a look back at some of the key moments that defined our journey so far this year.
Server-side tracking & CMP: The future of consent management
Earlier this year, Didomi acquired Addingwell, a leader in server-side tracking solutions. This milestone accelerated our efforts to help organizations embrace modern data strategies that not only meet regulatory requirements but also boost performance.
Naturally, this became a recurring topic throughout our 2025 events. We focused on showing how a solid server-side setup, paired with a strong CMP, can boost results while keeping everything compliant.
We kicked off the server-side discussions at MeasureCamp Helsinki with engaging chats with the analytics community.
“They showed us how Didomi works, not just as a product, but as a philosophy of ethical data use, I was genuinely impressed. Consent management is often underestimated. A banner, a checkbox, that’s it, right? Or maybe not?
It’s a growing and increasingly vital field within data analytics, and it could be one of the most meaningful and intellectually rewarding areas to work in. Laurent’s interview (5 minutes!) is a must-watch if you're a student or early-career analyst still shaping your path.”

Followed by a panel at the IAB Tech Lab Privacy & Addressability East Coast, where our VP of Product, Jeffrey Wheeler, participated in a panel to discuss future-proof solutions (like server-side) and consent challenges. Later, we joined the IAPP Washington to share insights on CMP governance in heavily regulated industries.
Continuing the conversation in Canada, at the DAMM Montréal, we explored the evolving role of server-side architecture in analytics. We also joined the IAPP Canada to discuss how consent frameworks are adapting to changing user expectations and localization needs.
Back in Europe, our session at MeasureCamp Madrid broke down the performance and technical implications of switching to server-side tracking, resonating with data leaders navigating cookieless transitions. We also joined the Batch Keynote in Paris to talk innovation and transparency with product and compliance leaders. We wrapped up the season at the IAB Tech Lab Summit, where we participated in a panel that explored the shifting balance between consent, data portability, and performance measurement.
In parallel, we hosted several high-impact webinars that approached these topics from both strategic and technical angles.
- Two French webinars on GDPR compliant acquisition and server-side tracking performance: Comment retrouver de bonnes performances d’acquisition tout en restant conforme au RGPD ? and Allier performance et conformité des données avec le tracking server-side.
- For our English-speaking audience, we also hosted the webinar Combine performance and data compliance with server-side tracking, which demonstrates the concrete benefits of server-side and our new alliance with Addingwell by Didomi.
This webinar series drew hundreds of attendees and confirmed the growing demand for flexible, compliant, and scalable tracking architectures. We also hosted “How to Prevent Compliance Risks by Assessing Your CMP Setup,” with super practical tips for auditing CMPs in complex environments.
Responsible tracking and advanced compliance monitoring
As privacy expectations continue to rise, organizations are realizing that a consent management platform alone isn’t enough. To truly build user trust and reduce risk, brands need continuous oversight and accountability. That’s why many of our discussions this year focused on Didomi’s Advanced Compliance Monitoring (ACM) solution, designed to help teams move from reactive to proactive privacy management. ACM gives organizations complete visibility into how cookies, trackers, and tags behave across all their digital assets.
We had the opportunity to bring these ideas to life during two of our regional afterwork events. In Montreal, we welcomed clients and partners for an engaging session that explored how compliance monitoring can bridge the gap between tech teams and legal stakeholders. Shortly after, our Afterwork in Madrid focused on the operational realities of advanced auditing, especially in regulated industries like finance, retail, and healthcare.
Alongside these in-person activations, our global audience joined a series of high-impact webinars dedicated to responsible tracking. In “Using Compliance Monitoring to Ensure Responsible Tracking”, we broke down real-world use cases where ACM has helped identify critical issues before they escalated.
Also available in French and Spanish, these webinars are available on demand.

Regional spotlights: Local trends, global implications
While global privacy standards continue to evolve, each region brings its own set of regulatory frameworks, cultural expectations, and operational realities. At Didomi, we recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach to consent and data compliance simply doesn't work. That’s why we’ve remained focused on delivering localized insights, tools, and support tailored to each market we serve.

This year, we were present at Gamesforum Barcelona, where we explored how gaming companies can implement privacy-by-design strategies without compromising on engagement or monetization. The session highlighted the nuances of player consent and the importance of flexible, sector-specific CMP setups for in-game tracking and marketing.
In Portugal, we participated in E-commerce Connect, a series of one-to-one meetings with industry leaders looking to enhance their data practices while remaining fully compliant with EU regulations.
We also brought these regional insights into our French webinar “Comment retrouver de bonnes performances d’acquisition tout en restant conforme au RGPD ?”. This session offered practical advice on reconciling campaign performance with strict local compliance standards, especially for teams operating across multiple EU markets. Watch it here:

Partner collaboration and strategic alignment
At Didomi, partnerships are more than integrations; they're strategic relationships built on shared values, open communication, and a commitment to long-term innovation. Throughout the first half of 2025, we’ve focused on reinforcing those relationships through meaningful in-person and virtual moments with our partner ecosystem.
In March, we hosted a Partner Afterwork in Paris to bring together clients, service partners, and tech providers for a relaxed evening of networking and conversations about privacy trends.
We also kept the dialogue going online with our Didomi Partner Office Hour, a webinar designed to share updates, gather partner feedback, and strengthen product alignment. This interactive format allowed us to spotlight ongoing initiatives and reinforce our shared mission of building scalable, privacy-first solutions.
Then in June, we co-hosted our Partner Day with Addingwell, where we shared updates on our shared roadmap and discussed what’s next for server-side, compliance, and product integration.

As our ecosystem continues to grow, we remain committed to building with and for our partners, keeping collaboration at the heart of our product and service evolution:

Emerging tech and future-facing trends
Privacy today is as much about preparing for the future as it is about staying compliant. We’ve spent time this year exploring the frameworks, tech, and regulations shaping what’s next.
In June, we participated in the IAB Tech Lab Signal Shift , where our teams engaged with global leaders on the evolving role of technical standards in privacy infrastructure. From consent signals to API standardization, this event highlighted how industry collaboration is essential to building interoperable and future-proof solutions.
We also hosted several global webinars, including:
- “Master Microsoft UET Consent Mode”: offered a deep dive into how to properly implement Microsoft’s advertising tag in compliance with user consent choices.
- “Exploring data privacy trends for 2025”: we unpacked what organizations should expect from the next wave of privacy regulations, technology, and user expectations. Most recently,
- “Combine Privacy Compliance and Efficiency with the IAB’s GPP Framework”: connecting marketing goals with the IAB’s new privacy standard
